We're as shocked as you are that these two are still together. For a while there, it looked like Bryant, 34, was on the fast track to the single life. But like a cat has nine lives, so apparently does this celebrity couple. The trouble started in July of 2003, just two years into the marriage, when Bryant was accused of sexually assaulting a Colorado woman. Bryant fessed up to adultery but not the assault charge, and Laine, 30, decided inexplicably to stand by her man. (The $4-million, eight-carat purple diamond "sorry I cheated on you" ring probably had something to do with it.) Then she had second thoughts and filed for divorce in December of 2011, citing "irreconcilable differences." Then she apparently had second thoughts again, spending an entire year mulling it over before announcing on Instagram last month that "We have reconciled." At this point, their relationship has the staying power of a gypsy curse.
